MORE ABOUT EJM HORSEBACK ARCHERY

After setting up EJM Horseback Archery in February of 2021, it's been a roller coaster of a ride! I realised that I wanted to be able to offer the same level of coaching that you can seek out for other equestrian disciplines, for example dressage & eventing, and to allow my students to progress through to the highest levels of the sport if thats what they desired.

Since then, I have worked hard to achieve my Advanced Coach qualification with the BHAA, and in July 2023, I became the first British Coach to become a Certified Nemethy Horseback Archery Trainer with the Nemethy Academy in Hungary. The Nemethy Academy has one of the best Horseback Archery programmes in the world, and I train as frequently as I can with Christoph and his team in order to keep my skills and knowledge advancing. As well as coaching, I enjoy competing at the top level of the sport, and have made 7 GB Team appearances to date. I also enjoy competing at home on my own pony, Sebastian, who is a 14.1hh Welsh X who loves to run fast! I am also very involved with the British Horseback Archery Association, and I currently stand on the Board of Directors for them. The BHAA is the governing body for Horseback Archery, and I would recommend that any of my students become a member. During lessons, you can expect to receive the highest level of tuition, right through from never having picked up a bow and arrows before, through to achieving your own qualifications, gradings and competitive results. I also run online training on a variety of topics related to Horseback Archery which are open to everyone.
