This course is ideal for anyone wishing to study for the British Horseback Archery Advanced qualification, or anyone wanting to improve their knowledge of Horseback Archery. This course covers all of the theory and practical elements for the Archery Theory module of the Advanced qualification: 1) Know about various types of bow and how they are mechanically different 2) Understand correct storage & treatment of bows & strings 3) Understand the importance of correctly maintained & fletched arrows 4) Be able to fletch arrows and carry out basic repairs 5) Know the effects of fletching variations 6) Understand the concept of matching arrows to the bow and to each other 7) Understand how a bow works with reference to energy storage & the release of that energy 8) Understand the factors that contribute towards arrow speed & accuracy Please note, completion of this course does not sign you off for this module.
