Intermediate Archery Theory Course

Service Description

This 2 part, online course will cover the Archery Theory module for the new BHAA Intermediate Qualification. Dates: Wenesday 15th January 2025 - 7pm Wednesday 22nd January 2025 - 7pm Session 1: Know about various types of bow, how they are mechnically different, and outline the parts of the bow and features that would preclude a bow from being used in Horseback Archery. Understand the proper maintenance of a bow with regards to preventing damage and maximising performance. Understand variation in arrow and fletching materials, the pros and cons of each, and safety aspects of arrow maintenance. Part 2: Be able to care for archery equipment appropriately. Discuss safe and correct archery technique.
