Intermediate Archery Theory

Archery Theory for beginners to intermediate.

Service Description

Intermediate Archery Theory Learn from the comfort of your own home! A 2 part course, covering all of the theory from the BHAA Intermediate Archery module. Part 1: Tuesday 16th January 2024 at 7pm Part 2: Tuesday 23rd January 2024 at 7pm Open to all, and appropriate for ages 12+. You do not need to be a member of the British Horseback Archery Association to join these sessions, but if you are looking to work towards your Club or Intermediate Horseback Archery qualifications (or Club Coach), assessment sessions can be booked separately. Course content: 1) Know about various types of bows, how they are mechanically different, and outline the parts and features that would exclude a bow from being used in Horseback Archery. 2) Understand variation in arrow and fletching material, the pros and cons of each, and safety aspects of arrow maintenance. 3) Be able to care for archery equipment correctly. 4) Be able to demonstrate and discuss good archery technique. Sessions are delivered via Zoom, and you will receive the link when you sign up.
